But God, your Luna is utterly spot-on and fabulous! I don't like this pairing at all, but you managed to make it work so perfectly - I could imagine this happening.

I never read Snape. Never! But loony4lupin's in exams and I didn't want this to go without a review, even though she stopped by to let the mystery author know she'd read it when she finished.

Damn.

Wow.

I REALLY enjoyed this. I say it like this because I'm so surprised. Usually even the best writers can't get me to like Snape. Your characterizations are spot on and the plot really good and in canon. That's some good storytelling. Well done, Mystery Author.

Here via luvscharlie, but unlike her, I adore Snape, so if she thinks this is good, it must be.

And it is. Luna is the hardest character to write in fanfic, and very few do. You, though, have written her magnificently. She is not an eccentric character, but a holy fool, and they are the wisest among us. She and Snape are the 2 most interesting characters in all of canon, and this story captures them beautifully.
