Thank you all so much for your input in the poll, we're glad to see so much interest still in an event! The majority of you wanted another wishlist event, so that's what we're going with. Oh, I remember having so much fun with the Christmas wishlist several years ago, and since I'm now all pumped up on DH 2.0, I'd love to post a wishlist for this. :)

Favorite pairings: Andromeda/Ted, Frank/Alice (Longbottom), Bill/Fleur, any permutation of the Deathly Hallows DA (esp. right after the war), any Black Family Tree rarepair. I also LOVE Founders!fic, with the caveat that the Founder's partner be an OC and NOT another Founder! :D

Things I like: explorations of non-British wizarding places (yay travel!), wizards & witches being amazed by Muggle technology, perspectives on wizarding history paralleling Muggle events, looking at different wizarding cultural institutions (art museums? theater?), visiting beautiful natural places (e.g. Grand Canyon, Great Barrier Reef).

Inspiration!
Love is wonderful in that it can never be wasted or used up. We can never replace the people or animals we have loved, but the love we feel for them can be expanded. I like to think of love as being stretchy. It is easy to feel guilty when you start to love a new pet - like somehow that means you love your old friend less. But when you think of love as being stretchy and able to expand, you can see that there will always be room for everything. You can love as much as you want. (source: Hyperbole and a Half)

"Life is what we make of it" by Edward A. Guest
Life is a jest;
Take the delight of it.
Laughter is best;
Sing through the night of it.
Swiftly the tear
And the hurt and the ache of it
Find us down here;
Life must be what we make of it.
