Just a quick clarification - this exchange matches on "or" rather than "and" (as Yuletide and various other exchanges do), correct? In other words, if I request characters A and B, and someone offers characters B and C, then we match on B, right? Thank you!

You might want to mention this on the signup - it makes it easier to offer/request characters that simply don't work together or interact in canon, especially since most exchanges are "and" matching.

Thank you for the suggestion! I wasn't aware that most exchanges are AND-matching. We didn't think there would be anything to hinder anyone from choosing whatever character they'd want, seeing as we're a character-based exchange, not a relationship-based one. So you can just pick only one of the characters and ignore all the rest.

But we're glad you pointed that out to us, so we can clarify that for everyone. :)

One more question. In the requests section, beneath "characters" there is another box titled "relationship"?

I'm trying to sign up and add more offers, but I can't get the fandom list to expand on the additional offers. Thanks.

That is strange. Does that usually work? (It might be a bug in AO3's script, because it didn't work in last year's exchange either and changing browsers doesn't help. We tried.)

As a bit of a workaround, you can either scroll through the list if you don't know what fandom you want to offer yet, or if you do, you can try using the Search function. Hit Ctrl + F and type in the name of the fandom you want to offer. When you find the fandom, just make sure you're still in the right Offer box. Sometimes, you browser will start searching the page from the top. Does that help?

Ah-ha! *facepalm* I didn't realize you could scroll within the boxes, thought you HAD to click "show all 198 checkboxes" to be able to select. Genius, over here. Thank you.
