Where did the time go?
Today marks 5 months of wedded bliss. Ok Ok, not every sigle day has been "bliss" but overall it's been a happy 5 months. I'm amazed how quickly the time has flown by. All that time and energy spent on planning one single day. I certainly wouldn't want to do the planning over again, but I would do the wedding day again. It was a beautiful day and I loved every minute of it.
A lot of people told me that I probably wouldn't even remember most of it. "Oh, you'll be so stressed and busy that you won't remember half of it." They were wrong. I remember it all. Plus, if I happen to forget, I have the whole day on dvd. I just wish I had our honeymoon to Vegas on dvd as well. We had so much fun. I can't wait to go back!
The Hubby says I'm silly for counting the months we've been married. He thinks it's cute though. I probably won't think about in terms of months once we reach the 1 year mark. I consider this first year to be extra special though. I'm such a sap! I don't make the Hubby go out and celebrate every month though. When we hit 6 months (next month), I'll be sure we go out. My parents are visiting for their anniversary in a couple of weeks. We can celebrate with them. That'll be sweet.
Now if I could just get him to wash the dishes...
