BALLACK, MICHAEL BALLACK.
He was my first football crush ever. Not only that, he's the only big celebrity/singer/footballer/etc crush I've ever had. I saw him in the WC2006 and he wasn't only gorgeous, but also one of the best players and to top it all he was captain. I changed my msn nickname to Stephanie Ballack so everyone knew he was *my* crush and then all my classmates copied me with the last name of the player they liked (I went to a girls-only school and that year we all decided to have a footballer crush). I used to be his biggest fangirl. I don't have a crush on him like I used to, he's still hot and a great player and the German NT captain, but not like he was before and the crush has faded.
GERMANY
Again it all started with WC2006, I don't understand how anyone could have seen that World Cup and not fall in love with them. They just get to your heart. I love the way they play, I love the way they celebrate, I love the way they make documentals, I even love their uniforms and their drama and how after everything they still go and win because they're that amazing. I'm not gonna support my NT in a World Cup any time soon so I support Germany's and love them as my own :) I was a fan even before I cared about football.
CHELSEA
I actually tried being a Chelsea fan (as silly as that sounds). I started watching their games and cheering for them, but the connection wasn't there, I didn't want them to loose, but if they did I wouldn't get sad and if they won I woulnd't start jumping around in my room from happiness. I think they're a good team and I want Ballack to play well and win things, but Chelsea doesn't make my heart stops, Liverpool does (Liverpool FC/Stephanie = OTP)
WERDER
I started watching die Bundesliga so I could watch my german players all year that's how I found out that Claudio Pizarro was playing there so I started watching and cheering for them because I always cheer for the teams with peruvian players. I already loved Frings, he's Ballack's BFF afterall and while everyone hates Wiese for being insane (he's not an asshole he just really is insane), I love him for it, and Ozil and now MARKO MARIN (I'm so excited)
SCHWEINSKI
OMG SCHWEINSKI, I miss it (them?), we don't get enough Schweinski anymore, I love Schweini, probably since the Portugal game in 2006, he's so adorable and him and Poldi were hilarious together. Those two were the future and now they're the present, I think they're the most representative footballers of the mannschaft. I don't know what happened with them in Bayern, I remember seeing them play together there and feeling like it was all a lie and their frienship was too good to be true :( They still make the best football gifs though.
