Hi, y'all. I'm totally new to the comm, just noticed the fic challenge earlier today and was intrigued enough to make an attempt. It's just for fun, un-beta'd, so don't expect anything Deep and Meaningful; also, I picked the pairing via the random pairing generator -- sort of. I don't actually even watch this show, but this story makes me want to. It's always interesting to read in a fandom you don't know because it's almost like you're reading origfic with characters you don't know yet.

My favorite thing about this story is the atmosphere: complex minds toying with each other, although the hint of sexual tension and arousal is quite fun, too!

Makes me feel like the show will have a lot of interesting psychological tension and layers of intrigue -- don't know if I'm right...

Very well-written, enjoyable piece!
