recommendation time

I can give nothing a higher recommendation than Robin Bougie's(of cinema sewer/sleazy slice fame, who I think of as a 21st century S.Clay Wilson) livejournal.

also in other recommendations, I think I downloaded this album like a year or more ago on a whim and I only got around to listening to it yesterday.
the czars- I'm sorry I made you cry.
it's a love song covers album, it's weird, I like it. usually it's kind of funny when a male singer sings a love song written from a female perspective and keeps all the gender nouns in their proper order. but on this album it gets even weirder because the singer will sometimes change all the gender specifics male making songs like "angel eyes" sound super gay. and I don't think the singer is actually gay. then again in 2009 does that kind of thing even qualify as gayness anymore?
