Caught a good portion of the Sonia Sotomayor confirmation/inquisition today on C-Span. Senator Sessions really got annoying after a while yet Sen. Graham was the asshole of the day. The poise and intelligence that woman exudes is astonishing. And to remain unflappable during hours of the non-sense spoke volumes. Overall, it was almost artful… the verbal thrust and parry. Never being able to ask the actual questions, answering carefully, minimally and never being drawn out.
I have taken a number of New York pictures; there's lots to still process. My sister was asking me to post some so I figured I should start with one of my neighbors, Jasper:

This little one hangs out a few doors down from me. She was really hungry and disoriented, so I couldn't get her name. Calling her Jasper for now.
