Concluded

So Colby is back in Seattle and I'm just now recovering. *snicker* It was great having him visit but I shouldn't have stacked travel around it.

Saturday we had lunch at Joe's Garage then eventually found the Southdale Mall despite intense construction. I wanted to hit Len Druskin's clearance store. Colby needed a belt… which we had to head south for. All the biggie stores operated across the street, next to a Weight Watchers and a Pancake House. After that we spent almost two hours at the MIA. This really cute guy suggested I become a member, so I did. We then drove forever to get to Nikki & Tony's for dinner and children attacks. Got back to my place for nap then spent almost three hours at the Saloon. Full day.

Sunday was more relaxed. Colby got packed up then we picked up Mary for Brunch at Ike's. Went over to Lake Calhoun afterward to while away another hour then head back to my place to print out his boarding pass before hoofing to the train station. Rode with him down to the terminal then let him figure shit out so I could catch the next train home.

We definitely need to catch up like this more often-just not back-to-back. He had more bitching to do about work but my life plans pretty much dominated our conversations. Will have to catch the rest virtually.

Back home I called AndrewFashion to flesh out some New York details. We ended up chatting almost an hour. Going to be a little awkward spending so much time with him but I will man up and deal.

Today disolved. Did the gym and tanning then some shopping. Need some travel tools after some good advice from Colby. Plus I decided to pick up an Acer Netbook. I've been agonizing over buying a mini-laptop or a Kindle for almost a month now but after much discussion and research, settled on the Netbook. If I were employed I'd just get both but I figure between the two, the Kindle can wait.

Going to finish getting the Netbook configured then head to bed. Still have a number of things to get done tomorrow since I fly out Wednesday.
