Well, I just got back from the advanced screening of the movie. The theater was packed and I mean PACKED, but we managed to get pretty good seats. Now, onto the review. If you haven't seen the movie yet, read at your discretion.

The third movie was really good. I really enjoyed it, even if it did seem pretty long but it was another one of those ( Read more... )

Yup, I just would have jumped into Jack's lap too. Now, the funny thing is I really really thought after Will died that she WOULD choose Jack. But NO.

Ok, do you want spoilers? read on if you do. I can't put them in white font like before, so read to your discretion.

Alright, so Will dies, because he is killed by Davy Jones at this crucial moment when the Black Pearl and Flying Dutchman are fighting against each other. Jack holds Davy Jones' heart in his hand, and he's not sure if he should pierce it. If he pierces the heart, that means he will take Davy Jones' place and be captain of the Flying Dutchman and live forever, which he wants. But he's not so sure anymore because to be captain of the Flying Dutchman would mean being bound forever to a single fate. So, then Will's father attacks Davy Jones out of anger, and while he's doing that, Jack gets Will to pierce the heart, since he's already dying. Davy Jones dies. And Jack takes Elizabeth, who is now married to Will btw, and escapes with Will still onboard. Will's father pierces Will's heart and the Flying Dutchman sinks. Then it comes back, with Will as captain with this sick scar on his chest. He orders the Flying Dutchman to attack Beckett with the Black Pearl. Beckett dies. And Elizabeth leaves the Black Pearl on a mini-ship. She says bye to Jack and tries to kiss him, but he tells her "once was quite enough" and she leaves. Cut to scene on the beach with Will and Eliza just made love. Definitely not PG there. Anyway, he gives her the chest with his heart and tells her to keep it safe. They can only see each other once every 10 years, because its the captain of the flying dutchman's duty to ferry the dead across to the land of the dead. They have this touching parting scene. Then cut to Jack, where he's flirting w/ two women and finds that his ship has been stolen by Barbarosa...again. Barbarosa convinced the crew by telling them that he knows the way to the fountain of youth. He opens up the map to show them and finds a giant hole. Jack stole the part of the map he needed. Then you see Jack in this little row-boat and he has the map and he's heading for..get this..Florida. lol. He takes out the compass and it's starts working for him again. And he sails off into the sunset. end spoiler.
