Ok, I'm going on an obsessive compulsive streak again and it's actually freaking me out b/c I'm REALLY REALLY excited about the movie, Hannibal Rising, even though it's all blood and gore and horror, shich I usually stay away from. But the guy! OMG, I love the way he talks. It's this slow, drawl, and the accent....*drool* He's not bad looking

Doesn't the trailer blow your mind? I'm telling you, Sophiax, that trailer is driving me up a wall. I've watched it at least 10 times already in the last three days. The dramatic music, the great scenery, GASPARD ULLIEL. omg. kill me now. I'm dying from anticipation.
That actor looks fabulous!
Doesn't he look yummy? Ok, I admit, he looks kinda freaky in some of the scenes, but that just adds to the brilliance of the film. And that voice! OMG the voice and the damn accent! And the way he says 'inspector'. *shiver*
When they said that Anthony Hopkins would not be doing the film, I thought for sure that no one in the world would be able to replace him. Gaspard is just so perfect. He looks the part, but better yet, he stays true to the kind of air that Hopkins gave Hannibal. I don't know how to describe it, but it's that high level of sophistication and intellect mixed with a perfect blend of wit, cunning and ruthlessnes. Yeah...it sounds like I'm talking about Tom Riddle. *sigh* I'm starting to notice a trend in the guys I fall for...evil fictional criminals are too sexy.
Of course, I'm sort of obsessed with Hannibal Lecter as a character, and think he's wonderful. After all, he really only kills people who deserve it... right?
Yes, he does! That's the beauty of it all isn't it, Sophiax, my love? He's like a superman or batman, except that he's evil. There's something so complex about Hannibal Lector that is so entrancing. You hate him and love him at the same time.
And for some odd reason, and you'll prob think I'm a freak, but that scene where he likes the blood off his hand? omg, but I found that hot...*blush*
...yup...I'm definitely spent too much time contemplating evil dark lords...it's starting to spill into other areas of life...
but I'm glad I've found a kindred spirit who at least wants to see the movie too. :). Can't wait until it gets out!

Oh, but I was angry in the film 'Hannibal' when they totally changed the ending from the book. If you read the book, the ending was the most twisted, romantic, wonderful thing, and the film just did a 180. Clarice Starling plus Lecter equals love! I suppose they thought the general public couldn't digest it... so to speak.
Gaspard (such a cool name) really does seem like he'll do the part justice. And the blood? Off the hand? Licking? Erm, yeah that was like the hottest thing ever. I replayed it, in fact! Maybe I need serious help... but no. Healthy interest in the dark side. That's all. Heh. XD

So true! I don't know why, but I end up comparing every evil villain I read about to Voldemort. I guess it just comes with the close connection
to Voldie since I write him. :D

I know! What happened to the girl power where she seduces him?!?! fjdkfjkdj!!! *angry glare at producers*
Clarice + Lector DO equal love...hehe. Maybe if the movie turns out good, I'll end up writing some Hannibal fanfiction. Just for a change.

Oh god, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that the licking is totally hot. and you're right. The rest of the world just doesn't understand the delectable lure of darkness. Thus the writing of the fiction. We need more supporters!

Seriously! That was my favourite part of the book, well, that and the very very end when it talks about how their servants in Buenos Aires aren't allowed to come around at dinnertime. Haha.
I would totally read Hannibal fanfiction though, I can't believe I haven't thought to look it up yet! :-) I hope you do write some, that would be cool.
The cookies over here on the dark side are yummy indeed. They're very bad for you but they taste so good! Mwahaha!
