(no subject)
Mike and I found a really great place off of Ludlow. Well, Mike found it. We're going to look at it today at 6. Then the girls (Jen and Jen) and I are going to the casino tonight. I'm only bringing $30, which is all that I have in my bank account.
Last night I met up with Ryan at Northside Tavern for a beer and we chatted about things. He's putting a shop in the gallery and he wants me to help him run it. We also talked about doing the after school art program that I wanted to do a couple years ago, but never had the space/resources. I'm glad he and I seem to have the same goals. Then we walked down to Jacob's where Mike and Steve seemed pretty psyched to see me. Either that or they were just krunked. Steve decided to make me drinks that grew exponentially in strength, which could again be attributed to the amount of alcohol he had already imbibed in. Mike was obliterated and licked some girl in a place that doesn't see the sun very often. Pretty hilarious. I didn't know he had it in him. I played cocktail waitress for the people on the porch and got the guys some good tips. Later, Jen showed up after work and after most people had left and we did a little dancing and more drinking. Lots of flirting and laughing was done by all. Eventually, we had to leave so Jen and I sat in the car giggling like dumb little girls for awhile. All in all, an amazing night. I love love love my life. And apparently, I don't need Delta for that.
I kind of feel like I should say something about Kari, despite the fact that I've only really met her once. I've heard nothing but great things, and she was really important to someone who was/is important to me. I know a lot of people are broken right now because of this, and just like anything else terrible going on in anyone's lives, I wish there was something I could do to help. If anyone needs to talk, I'm here. Just putting that out there.
Now I'm off to get an e-check and go to the bank before they close.
