Always random tidbits

Teigan knew the Mime were involved around wanting Kayrin out of Getier land.

Having Sray selected by the Mime was a double blow. The Mime exploited the Klamon, Klamon retaliated and the wars started.

The Mime preferred to stoke the fires if distrust than face the Klamon head on. They retreated. There were gaps in inducting new students, introduction of military training. They were the secret weapon Humans didn't even know they had, but they were underused because secrecy was more important than winning the war.

Then the Keystone abandoned his family at the thought of Mime involvement.

To have the Mime single out his daughter was a lot to deal with. Teigan isn't one to stand and watch things happen. That was one of the things that bothered him so much among the Keystone clan. They were essentially in charge of part of the southern border between Getier land and Kamenlohn, but allowed Kamenan people to trespass for years until he and Kayrin met and ultimately spearheaded the work of actually reinforcing previous deals that had been getting ignored.

He is curious too. Had they learned their lesson? What exactly did they want with Sray? Did they know?

I'm sure Sray relayed the knowledge from Tos Savin that Sherod Kalden learned his trade at Enegama and that probably eased some of the anxiety not knowing exactly where this place was. Sherod Kalden would know. If something happened he could be ... convinced to lead them to Sray.
