a few days ago, i responded to this craigslist ad for an unpaid writing gig. you know, because why not? i think i said something like "who needs money? i just got fired from my shitty day job. i can live on DREAMS."
and he wrote me back saying that he really liked my writing, and also asking what the shitty day job was, because they have openings where he works at LA CITY BEAT

it's just selling ads, but it's a great place to work and everyone is awesome and i didn't have to lie and say that i have no aspirations in the film industry. and i already made more friends going into there for one interview than 3 months at broidy fucking capital.
so monday i go in to "review my contract." as long as there's no provision that says i have to give 5 blow jobs a day (4 is my limit. i am a lady, after all), I HAVE A NEW JOB.
