Gosh, what a night. I went to Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios with Emily Smith and David Roberts. It was soo much fun.
The fireworks were absolutely beautiful but the traffic was so ridiculous afterwards.
Then we went to Steak and Shake and got cheese fries and milkshakes. Omg i have never laughed the way i did that night.
Then i got back tot he dorm about 1:30 and i fell asleep around 2:15 only to be woken up by the fire alarm at 3ish. We went outside and found out that the couch in the 2nd floor common room was on fire. The sprinklers which emit 60 gallons of water a minute were on on at least the second floor and 1st floor, but we weren't sure about our floor. After a while we found out we couldn't enter the building because it was unsafe. so we ended up staying in an empty room in Herc.
We were able to come back in at like 10:40
but omg it was a BAD night. I'm just glad that the sprinklers didn't go off on our floor. My parents had a bag packed ready to come down here and help clean up my stuff and replace things.
