AT&T has managed to piss me off twice in the past week, this time, for keeping open my old account and sending it to a collections agency. I guess when they changed my number from Missouri to Nebraska, they left the old account open and started a brand new contract for me, thus meaning that the old account was terminated for non-use and an early termination fee of $175 was applied to my old account. Add interest of an unpaid balance since August of 07 and the collection agencies 33% fee markup, they assessed that I owed them $389.60.
I've never had this much trouble with a cell phone company, even Sprint pales in comparison. For now, I have to wait until the dispute is resolved on February 5th.
Sarah & I watched Waitress, which was decent and not over the top cheesbally. While we were sitting there talking and smoking, we discussed what we wanted out of 2008. I want my degree and she wants a new city to live in. I got to thinking again about Springfield and if it would just be easier by finishing school at Missouri State. I wouldn't lose 30+ credits in a transfer and I'm almost guaranteed a job/place to live. I decided that I'm going to roadtrip down there next week on my days off so I can see my friends and talk to my old advisor.
All this fucking snow is bumming me out and making me feel lazy. On the plus, I'm watching 2-3 movies a day.
