So while doing weekend maintenance @ work, I figure I'd check out for the 30th time, the tentative vacation I have planned this year with Michelle.
Trip: European Discovery
Europe
14-day tour
Featuring: Belgium (in transit) • Netherlands • Germany • Austria • Vatican City • Italy • Switzerland • France.
Contiki offers Europe tours to the greatest cities, including London, Amsterdam, Munich, Hopfgarten, Venice, Rome, Florence, Lucerne, and Paris.
Sounds pretty good eh? The one gripe I have about this trip is the fact that its a very go-go-go trip, with you waking up at 6-7am each morning to get on the bus and jet to the next destination. How can you drink and party (and possibly smoke?) all night and then wake up at 6am? Actually, now that I write that, it sounds like fun. Not a minute wasted sleeping after spending the $2500 or so to get there.
This past week, its been juggled with a trip to the Bahamas (Atlantis style), and we'll probably spend just the same in Bahamas but for one week less. Maybe next time. You know it feels as though people I know try to cram their vacations in before they turn 30, get married or whatever. But the way I figure it, dude I'm only 26 and I have tons of time to go places. Even better, the more i get older, the more money I make, meaning more vacations. But of course, once little Marky comes along, it gets tougher, Disneyland here we come!
Ok back to work, if you're bored and want some wicked groovy, downtempo house/hip hop mixes, probably nothing you'll hear at the clubs, check out www.milkaudio.com. Highly highly recommended.
