Ugh, I've been working two jobs since I got back from school and it is soul crushing. I think my brain is going to turn into even soupier oatmeal. I've even forgotten some hiragana...Jeebus. I need to review kanji before school starts and finish that bloody DS tutor. /heavy sigh
During down time, I've been trying cram in happy times with
cyloncurry ! [see their posts]. As well as delicious mind numbing anime, video games, and manga. Sadly Graptar is in storage and when I tried to bust him out the power supply was broken and we had to take him to the doctor. I'm going nuts without being able to download series I still have to finish...I hate streaming, but it's all I can get right now. Plus I haven't been able to use LJ properly...meh. There's so much I'm going to have to back track.
Alright, I know not buying the over priced DVDs is wrong, but how the hell am I supposed to watch/read recent series.
Started painting again, I guess. I've forgotten a lot, it seems.
Today didn't go exactly to plan, but came out all right. Went to "Chamber Orchestra Party" of Mum's boyfriend's daughter. No food was ready for our (
cyloncurry and
raptorbandit ) arrival and we left before six o'clock 'cause I had to catch dinner with Da.
cyloncurry and the
raptorbandit drank and ate chocolate and waded in a manmade lake. Though the sun was rather bright and I could've gone for some meat.
P.H.O. Asian Noodle was good again, though I don't reccommend the Beef Spicy Noodle Soup. Roast Duck FTW. Da didn't say anything bad about P.H.O. which is huge for any restaurant we go to. I think he especially liked it for the low prices.
I look forward to the Red Onion, I work towards those glorious three days off. I won't be on the Interwebs at all for those days.
Let's explain the icon: I'm in a Naruto Phase this Summer. It began with some Pokemon and somehow de evolved into Naruto. Though, I hate Naruto the character. Best developed character (my favorite) is surely Gaara and Sasuke comes in second (he's being a tool right now, but still his ending WILL be tragic and perhaps a bit beautiful). I found the icon belonging to
nami86 , she is teh shiz. The Naruto Shippuden anime is taking a turn for the worst in the animation department, ugh. I DEMAND better drawing...Sasuke is looking chubby and cross eyed too often and THIS IS HIS FREAKIN' ARC!!! Why do I enjoy teh SasuXSaku smut...maybe because Sakura can crush his tool ass into oblivion if she so chooses....What? It's cute.
By the way, Damleg on DA has a great doujinshi (which she puts out by page and FREE), it's great watching her drawing improve steadily, I've been following it for quite a while now.
AND another artist, by way of Samurai-PET is the first on my list to commission. Check her style out, makes you want to see everything via graphic novel. Also, 1940s American style Naruto characters? Can't get much better than that.
I've been thinking about making an abstract fanart, I just want to use those vivid colors and vague shapes. Want to emphasizes the movement and violence and love and hate with the strokes and colors and texture. Maybe by school I can have a working rough draft.
I need to spend a day sleeping.

Been on patrol for two months now, but next year at academy will be quite taken care of with this cache of gold I'm hoarding. Not to mention the numerous bounties I've taken on in the larger cities we pass through. Still, it's hard living on a tight purse when there is so much swag beholden. Giving riding lessons during academy will give me enough to get a few good luxuries, I think.
Met up with the returning patrol and a few decided to join us. Met an Eye from the returning patrol and we get on quite well. Too bad she goes to academy in the Capital, unlike me in the boons.
Soon I will be on a few days leave for the gathering of my Clan. It will be a welcome rest.
