Abby didn’t want a traditional bridal shower or bachelorette party, but reluctantly agreed to the beach picnic with the ulterior motive of making Emily purchase modern beachwear. Jess planned a perfect day, but hadn’t planned for Connor’s luck. She had scolded Becker for bringing weapons, but when an anomaly opened and the Liopleurodon began to attack surfers, she was grateful for his paranoia. They succeeded in driving the creature back through the anomaly, with no loss of civilian life. So what if two weeks later Connor was on crutches and Abby’s cast for her broken wrist was her something blue.
