Connor threw another branch on the fire and cuddled close to Abby in the Cretaceous pre-dawn chill. “Do you remember watching the Ice Age movies with me after I almost froze to death?”
“Yes, you spent the entire movie complaining how inaccurate it was, and still insisted on watching all the sequels.” Abby huffed with annoyance.
Connor pointed, “Well, if you look over by that rock you would see…”
“It’s Scrat!” Abby laughed. “Where’s his acorn?”
“Cronopio dentiacutus was discovered after the first movie, but looks remarkably like Scrat while living in the late Cretaceous.”
“So, right critter, wrong era?”
