Back to the Point!
Something very interesting happend today, I log onto my application account on Cedar Point's website, and there was a little message on there that said "You have been hired for the 2005 season. An employment agreement will be sent to you in the next few weeks." I must say it is nice to know that they want me to come back next year, although I can say that I am not quite as excited about it this time as I was last time. Don't get me wrong, I would love to go back up agian this summer. It would be great to work with people that I had worked with last year, or just to hangout with some old buddies agian. The reason I am not as excited is that for one, I do not know the full details of my contract yet, and I wasn't able to ask for the few days around my older sister's wedding (if she wants us to be there for it) off because I didn't know about it until after I sent my application. Also, I don't have a car yet, so I am not even sure if I will be able to get up there that way. I have full confidence in the world that I will, but I am not completly sure. So I guess the next thing to do is tell Mom and Carmen about it, I also need to see if Katie wants us to be there, and if so what day it will actually be on, then I need to call Debra (the woman who hired me) and ask her if I could contract those few days off. After I get that straitend out, and I get a car, and get everything else taken car of, everything should be good, and I can enjoy the idea of spending my summer in my own little paradise!
