I LOVE THIS WEEK!
I think I may be having one of the best weeks I have had in a long time. So many good things are going on for me.
On Wednesday, I had to work, which wasn't special, but wasn't too bad either, and the Yankees GOT THEIR ASSES KICKED!! HELL YEAH, GO BOSTON!
On Thursday I called Angela agian, and we made plans to meet up at Chico's for lunch, and then go to Mendonhall for some bowling. She said that she really liked bowling, so this should work out pretty well :-D
Today, I went to see Dr. Fridgen, the dept. chair for the Recreation and Leisure Studies Department at ECU. He and I talked a bit about things I was interested in, and he took the info and told me about a few paths I could look into taking. I must say that it made me feel really good to have a better Idea of what I may be able to do for jobs in the amusement park industry, and it was also the first time that someone said that going deeper into management would be a good possibility, which is what I think I really want to do. Later on, while I was at home, I got a call from a guy named Shawn. He was a manager from Overton's and said that they wanted to give me an interview on Tuesday. I know that because I have an interview does not mean that I will get the job, but I have a really good feeling since I am 2 for 2 on job interviews so far (Chick-Fil-A and Cedar Point). Then while at work tonight, these two girls stood next to me while I was cleaning tables and said "Hey." I didn't recognize her until one of them said "It's Angela (Emily said it)." I felt so stupid! I couldn't believe that I did not recognize either of them, although I had told Emily before she and her friend left that I may have a little trouble recognizing Angela when I see her agian since I see so many customers. Well, I don't think I will have as much trouble on Sunday. I just hope Angela didn't think that I was trying to pass her off or something like that. I also thought that she had a dark hair color, but it turns out that she is blonde, but I am not complaining at all. I think I my luck has changed dramticly. From the possibility to getting a new job, to knowing a little more of what I may do for a future carrer, to meeting a girl who thinks I am cute, who is quite a looker herself in my pair of blue eyes. So I guess the next thing to happen is to see how things go on Sunday and Tuesday. At least now I get to go to bed tonight with nothing but positive thinking for the first time in a while!
