The weekend, not as bad as advirtised.

Ok, so on Saturday, a day I thought would suck because of having to work that night, I wake up, and the first thing that happens is my mom wants me to help them move the boat. It wasn't too bad except for the fact that I pulled my back, which was not too much fun. So because of that, i stayed home and did not do anything constructive until it was time to go to work. It was nice and relaxing. Oddly enough, work was not that bad either. Partially because I was only there for three hours. I was sent home early by my manager since it really slow, and there were 11 people scheduled for the night. So I can't complain too much. Today I did a lot of yard work for the folks, which was good since I wasn't too active yestarday. After that I went ahead and got my shower, then went to Joyner to do some work for my technical writing class. After doing what I needed to get done, I went to BW-3's for lunch. It was cool because they get NFL Sunday Ticket, so I caught the first half of the Seahawks game against St Louis. They were kicking ass! But they blew a 17 point lead and lost in overtime. Oh well, at least they are 3-1 instead of 0-5 like Miami. So I come home, and get online to see what some of the local dealers have for sale. E.C. Auto has a white 1990 Ford Ranger with only 87,000 miles or so for $2,995. I found that if I put $2,000 down and made payments on the last thousand or so for 24 months, payments would only be about $48 a month. I told my folks about it, and they said something about how I should wait until I get a new job because I would be stuck with Chick-Fil-A if I started on a loan now or some shit like that. So I guess that I shouldn't expect to get a car until I get Christmas money, because for one, The way things look to be going, I won't be getting a new job for a while, because most people will see that I have been at Chick-Fil-A for as long as I have, and they will probably think that is all that I am good for, so they may not give it a second thought. Second being because there arn't any good cars in my price range right now. So it looks like I won't be on four wheels for a while. OH WELL. I still have a little to do for my Technical Writing class before I go to bed, so adios!
