The second part to my first adventure at Mari's bookstore...
This is an amazing painting done by one of Mari's family friends. He did three parts to this, and gave her this for decoration. He deliberately made this look old and everything!
This would be the whole painting!
Before I got to see what behind the counter looked like, I noticed this on the couch and told Mari, "You won't be needing that flyswatter today. I'll gladly catch and eat the bugs for ya!"
These kids books on cassette cases are so dusty. I guess not many people around here have anything that plays cassettes anymore...
As I jumped down, I met this horseshoe crab who asked if I wanted to ride on his back. I never rode one of these before, and it turns out they move so slow, so I wasn't there for long at all.
A rock decoration. This I found among ceramic shells and old fossils on top of this one shelf where the Animorphs and C.S. Lewis novels are.
