Guess who can crawl as of today
Macsen has been spinning around on the floor and getting up on his hands and knees to rock back & forth for over a week now. However, he hasn't really made any significant progress forward until tonight. What happened? I decided to sit on the floor to eat some cheesecake 5 to 8 feet away from him. He looked at me, looked at my plate, and wiggled like a seal as though his life depended on it in a straight-line path directly for my plate.
Wow. I never would have thought that cheesecake would motivate my son to crawl more than toys, Gavin, or love of mommy combined. Now I get to see whether he's willing to crawl to try to get to non-food items.
Gavin also enjoyed the cheesecake. He didn't enjoy having to go to the doctor's office today. It was for his 3rd year check-up, and thankfully, he's up to date on all of his shots. Visit ran on the long side though, as I had quite a bit to talk about with his doctor.
