Rory is done with finals!
I think I'm happier about it than he is. [yes. -Rory]
(Thank you Rory for editing my update while I was dealing with Macsen.) Anyway, after he was done with his last final, he asked me if there was anything he could help me out with. I listed off all of the various projects I hope to complete this summer, and he indicated that he could probably remain employed helping me with my business for a good chunk of the summer. =)
Oh, and the CIA got Osama Bin Laden. Apparently Hitler died on April 30, and his death was announced the next day on May 1. Sixty-six years later, to the day, Osama bin Laden's death was announced.
Resuming my post, Gavin is starting to use proper articles and prepositions, such as "the" and "in", etc. He's also making conceptual connections. For example, the other day Gavin was holding a giraffe toy, touching its neck and talking about hair (I'd told him about how a mane is long hair on the neck or head). He then pointed to his head and mentioned hair. I added that I have more hair on my head than he does. He then pointed at the baby and said, 'baby has more owies than mommy'. (Macsen's scratched his head a few times in the past few days - those fine little nails are sharp!)
I wasn't expecting him to come up with that level of insight. So, I'm pleased that he's progressing and learning. Right after Macsen was born, he seemed to revert on a lot of behaviors & stopped talking as often. I guess he's gotten used to having the baby around and is going back to normal.
