When I saw you, I saw many things once again.
Felt things I hadnt since back then,
and remembered things my anger made me forget.
Who you were and who you were helping me become.
How smooth the transition was from being a being of stone, to one of flesh.
The laughter, and the exchange of glances under the radiant sun.
Basking under its rays, letting the ocean breeze brush against our skin, making our spines sing.
Talks of things we had never said, things we would never say.
Of places were we would love to go, of people we'd love to help and meet.
Of ending poverty and helping humanity back to its feet.
Dinner for two of a kind, with equal minds and equal sight.
This was the world holding me for the first time since I was born.
Showing me the brightest of lights upon many lights.
I had felt love before, and after you.
But at that time, the earth held its breath for us to share
The longest of time in which time ever did stop.
But after you...
my mind split, my heart froze again, and my fist spoke.
Not the best of things to happen, but it was all due to my past of which you know.
And I forgot who I was,
What I said I was going to do,
Of whom I said I'd help.
And along the way, I lost the way I was starting to find back then.
And here you are again,
Doing the things we, that night, said we'd do.
Flying to places where hearts seem broken.
Helping those who lost hope for better.
And in your pictures you saved each person you met, in the years you were missing.
And now all I can do is write.
From the shadows in which I fit best.
Admiring the light which you cast into this world.
So I ask you this,
If I cant find my way,
save enough people for the both of us.
Bring a million miles worth of smiles to the world I wanted to save.
I know you can, I know you will.
After all,
You brought hope back into my heart now,
when no one could again.
