Changes. Or, is it getting old in here, or is it just me?

I am no longer a member of the Murder Mystery Company. :( It's sad, I loved the gigs, and I liked most of the people I worked with. However, the company itself is kind of imploding.  They're doing things that are ridiculous (poor customer service, disallowing tips for actors), things that are kind of grey legality-wise but easy to make mistakes on (independent contractors vs. employees), and things that are just outright illegal (changing the contracts but keeping the signatures, then denying this has happened).  It's ugly.  I'm well out of it, but I'm still kind of sad about the whole thing.

In better, more entertaining news, Aaron and I had a FANTASTIC date last night.  We went out for Indian food.  (Turns out there is a spectacular place in Blue Springs, it has the best chicken tikka masala I've ever had.)  We then went to see some friends of ours in a burlesque show out in Overland Park.  It was so great, hot, and reallyreallyreally hilarious.  I laughed so hard, I couldn't breathe.  My friend Ben laughed so hard at one point that he just literally fell down.  I sassed the magician pretty hard.  (At this burlesque show, there was a magician! :D)  He sassed me right back.  Flirtations and implications flew back and forth, good times.  I apologized after, in case I had made things difficult at all (I'm not usually the hollering member of the audience!), but he said he'd had fun.  Facebook stalked him a bit today.  He's nine years younger than me.  And now I'm a dirty old lady. 9_9  (He's within the "half your age plus seven," but only barely.)  Ah well.  Good times were had by all.
