I got this app on my phone called Chore Checklist Lite. I am a list maker by nature, because if I don't have everything organized as to what I'm going to do when, all I can see is that everything needs to get done, and I am overwhelmed. So now I have this pretty little self-updating list that says, "Yeah, everything needs to get done, but TODAY you only have to do this." I'm feeling a lot more in control of my day to day. This is my first day of using it, but my day has been wildly productive, and I don't feel like I was overbooked. Super hopeful about that.
I'm doing this SuperBetter thing (superbetter.com), which I feel like is my counseling substitute. It gives me a couple of things to work on every day, and a place to report my setbacks and victories. Also, I don't feel so alone in my crazy.
I have a mindfulness app on my phone that reminds me to check in with myself every couple of hours. I have a meditation app that gives me a truth to think about for several minutes, or challenges me to merely empty my mind for that time.
Technology is awesome.
