Explaining more...
I am FREEZING! I'm so glad that I have the uncanny ability to wake up at 5:30 every morning, no matter how tired I am, because if I hadn't, I wouldn't have woken up for the bus. I had no idea I would sleep into the next day solidly from around 4:00 in the afternoon yesterday when I fell asleep. I figured, mom wasn't going to let me hang out with Drew, why bother being awake for her wrath? I hate that woman.
Well, let me explain yesterday because, well, I wish to. Piano was extremely easy because we had a sub who went off on one of the pianos and played it. We didn't have to do anything. NOTHING! It was the easiest thing I've ever done. Geometry, well, I just read through it. I was totally tired and just wanted to sleep, but I decided instead to read and keep myself out of trouble. Theater was fun again, because David Hall was teaching us again! He's so funny. We tried to teach him an american accent. He over-excentuates the "r's" in our speech, but he's got it down well. He was talking about how british people rarely pronounce their "r's" so bodly, but I noticed, sometimes I don't either. Maybe it's from being used to using that kind of accent.
Lastly, when I got into journalism, Mrs. Devore says, "Kristena... how would you like to be copy-editor next year?"
"But I didn't even apply. I didn't have time, the deadline is passed."
And Nichole pipes in, "I recommended you."
"Seriously, the position is mine?"
"Yes."
"OMG! YES!!!!!!!!! YES I WILL DO IT!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!" I don't know why it's so exciting, but maybe it's because since the last few days have been good, I've been a little over-excited about life. Who knows? During Journalism, we (Tairra, the new Op/Ed Editor and myself) got her out of running the hundred hurdles with our coach, and she told me something very interesting...
"Did you know _______ likes you?"
"He does?"
"Yeah, he totally flirts with you all the time."
"But he does with everyone!"
"But he's so different when he's with you..."
"I figured, but I didn't want to bring it up."
"Yeah, thought you should know since I'm in one of those kinds of moods."
So _______ likes me, eh? I could always tell he did a little bit, but ever since I've been wearing all the pretty stuff I could really tell, lol. Too bad he's freakin' taken! Doesn't that always work out so well? The guy finally notices a great part of me, and he can't relish in it with me unless I'm willing to be the "other girl." No more other girl crap! If he likes me that much, he'll break up with her. I don't need to be the "other girl" again! I refuse (except in extenuating circumstances, lol)!
On the bus, me and Matt and Stacey were joking around. It was weird to joke with him again. I think I was the most awkward of all of them, but I could tell something different with Stacey. I backed off and let her have her fun. There was no point in interrupting, or taking over. She looked like she was silently pleased that I had done so, but I was too. It hurt to watch him flirt with someone else, but I've got to keep in check that he's not mine, so I chatted with Megan and eventually just enjoyed the bus ride home.
Oh, Drew called about 2:30 and told me that he probably won't be able to do the one-acts because he has to take off Friday for court and he can't take off two days in a row or he'll get fired. Shit. BUT, and I think this is a VERY good thing of him to do... he's paying Austin to do the part, he's costuming him, and he's teaching him all the lines. I'm glad that atleast if he's dropping out, he's gracious enough to find someone to replace himself, and pay him for goodness sakes! If it hadn't been Austin, Alex was going to do it, but either way the prince is still pretty hot. But thank you Drew!
So, about 4:30, after I fought with mom, ate a chicken sandwich (the ones at the C.H. shell are THE BEST IN THE ENTIRE WORLD FOREVER AND FOREVER!), and read more of my beloved book Johnny Tremain (which, might I add Aaron proclaimed a "crappy book" and tried to get me to read one of his books), I went to sleep and didn't wake up until right about now.
So I'm going to go get ready, good bye!
