To start, let me ask everyone here: do I have a "it's okay to touch Kristena inappropriately" sign on my back? Is every pervert out there seeing something I don't??? Because it's really starting to piss me off.
Like one of the older guys I work with grabbed my ass when he walked by. I looked at him uncomfortably and he chuckled. And this other guy, one of the new staff, every time he walks by me, his hands somehow make contact with my boobs. To all guys guilty of this: this is NOT okay! At worse, look, but never touch. It's rude, disrespectful, and illegal!
And to everyone who forgets, I AM only 15!
At work today, I walked in (as usual) on a rush so Lana (the boss that never really talks to me... umm, the one I spilled coffee on during my first few weeks of working) put me on fries. Well, this one woman Lisa bumped into me when I had the baskets in my hand and one hit my forearm. OWW!! Imagine solid metal coated in grease that has been baking in 337 degree oil making contact with your skin.... not exactly pleasurable. In fact, extremely painful. But I worked through the pain (although my sleeve kept rubbing the burn as I worked) and didn't mention it until break, actually.
When I went to take a break, I pulled out $1.50 for my employee-discounted quarter pounder with cheese (I was in the mood to try something different) and the cashier needed Lana to discount it for me, so Lana looks at me and says, "hun, don't worry about it."
"Are you sure?"
"You've been working real well lately. Don't worry about it."
That was REALLY nice of her, considering she never talks to me unless to criticize me. It made me grin... all the way until Matt G started up again. "What's up, you gothic person?"
"I'm NOT GOTHIC!"
"That's how we know you're gothic- you're denying it"
"Seriously, Matt, I'm not."
"Josh, is she gothic?"
He looked at me and said, "she's not gothic. Wait, what's your favorite country in Europe?"
"Britain."
"You're gothic."
"Josh! I hate you! I'm not gothic!"
Later, as we were hanging out, he goes, "you're not gothic."
"I know."
"You smile too much to be gothic."
And then, I grinned again. He's so adorable!!! Between him and Jail Josh, no one can ruin my mood. OH YEAH! I saw Dravon in STREET CLOTHES!!!!!! He has the NICEST ASS in the ENTIRE WORLD!!!!! OH MY GOD!!!!! Seriously, even if you don't like asses, you will LOVE this ass! It's magical..... it makes heads turn..... it's gorgeous, in it's own right.
It's better than the Drew Perkinson ass. Yes, THAT GOOD.
Moving on, I got extra hours for the weekend, I get to work Saturday from 10 in the morning until 2:30... I'm nervous because I've never worked morning shift. I'm really, really nervous.
Today Thomas asked if I work tomorrow and when I told him I didn't, he goes, "why not? You have to save for New York, don't you?"
"How did you know about that?"
"I have my ways."
"You've been talking to Mrs. Frame!!!!"
"She does kind of work here."
"But that's not right! She's part of my theater life. It shouldn't mix with work. You shouldn't know about that!"
"I still do."
"You shouldn't"
"But I do."
"But you shouldn't."
"And yet, I do."
"Shush."
"Alright, make me some fries."
Ah, how quickly a problem can be solved by directing "Kristen" (me) to the fry station to make more fries! How exciting!
ONE MONTH AND FOURTEEN DAYS UNTIL I TURN SIXTEEN!!!!! This is like the major turning point in life, the time where I can work whenever I want!!!! No restrictions!!! That's SO EXCITING!
This is my plan... apply for a weekend job when I turn sixteen at a store/restaurant within walking distance of McDonald's. When the summer starts, I'll work at my new job from around 9am to 3 or 4pm... and then walk straight to McDonald's and work from 3 or 4pm until 10pm! It's brilliant! That way, I don't have to get but two rides, and I can spend my whole summer working! I can keep my first ever job, and get another one to save double time. I think it's a really good idea :-)
I'm going to die..... and I just realized... I won't be able to do any shows during the summer because of working. That's okay though, they're only doing The Wiz and that's not my kind of musical.... especially because it's the black version of Wizard of Oz. No, I'm not kidding. CCT, the whitest theater company around, is putting on The Wiz. Don't ask me how, I'm not involved.
Well, I think that's enough talking for me. Catch you later!
