Flatmate warned me last night that her parents are coming over on Saturday with her little nephew and niece. I am sure they're very nice but I get fretful when the house is full of people I don't know and am completely freaked by little people so I'm going to Stratford for the weekend to see the Shakespeare Houses (again) and, since the Youth Hostel is fully booked, I'm going to camp. Yes, it is almost certainly going to rain and yes, I've booked a pitch on the campsite I last used when I camped at Stratford (cause it's cheap) which wasn't great but, it's only for one night and I get to put the tent up properly, test it in the rain and, should anything go wrong (eg some bit missing I didn't notice, some horrific design flaw that lets the rain in, the whole thing just falls on me) I am within driving distance of home. I am taking a hot water bottle just in case...
Went to see 'Now You See Me' at the cinema last night. Actually a very fun film despite the 'twists' being visible practically from the start and a bit of a weak ending. It is mostly carried by a set of really likeable actors (escpecially Woody Harrelson, who's just great) even if I can't quite my head round someone who uses NLP being called a 'mentalist'. Apparently this has a different meaning in America to how it's used in Britain and it pulls me up short every time. Still, would watch it again.
Off to the Isis session tonight so must remember to pack for the weekend before I go...
