sometimes i wish that i lived somewhere more exciting.....
like england, or america. or where ever NME is located...

Wanted, female vocalist, think Blondie, Elastica, Hole, experienced 3 pieced Indie rock band, ready to gig, come for a unthreatening audition, excellent regular rehearsal room, Central London.
how nice of them to say it is an "unthreatening audition".kinda makes me feel all cosy and warm.
wonder what their gender is.....
Cool, striking female singer with unique voice and look wanted, by London based, cutting edge songwriter/producer, highly connected in the music and film industry, influences Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Cure, Bowie, Cardigans, Muse, Garbage.
Considering only 2 of those bands actually have a female singer, that ad. confuses me. the fact that you've gotta be "cool" is also confusing too. because most of those bands are all "anti-cool"... if ya know what i mean.
god damn it. why does everytime i hear "if you know what i mean" sound suss to me?!?!

anyway. if i could sing, and i lived in london. i'd so go audition. but no.
i didn't realise how much the gold coast sucks for music. well, until there was an article about it in my uni mag. you'd think that this being the gold coast, the hip & happening cool place, that we'd have a raging music scene.
but alas no.
we don't.
we suck.
and now i have about 3hrs to finish 3 assignments. eeek.
