I'M NOT TECHNICAL
I'm about to give the heave ho to this crap right here.
I like to consider myself relatively able when it comes to computers and whatnot, but GOD I do NOT want to spend any more time trying to trick these silly Windows XP boxes they should run old, abandoned games from the mid to late 90s. I'm talking specifically of X-COM: UFO Defense and X-COM:Apocalypse.
I guess I'm kind of glad I kept that old Packard Bell Pentium 150 box around. I might have to fire that heavy bastard up, blow the hard drive and install Windows 98 SE (if I even remember HOW) so I can play these old games.
I know one of you smarties out there is going to say something to the effect of emulating an old OS on my existing XP box. And I know that learning VMWare or something like that might be useful in general. But damn, I don't want to learn a whole new thing just to play an old game. I'M LAZY. There, I said it.
