RIP Michael Bond 1926--2017

I've had the pleasure of being acquainted with the author of Paddington Bear and joined him for tea time at Trump Tower in 1989, at which time he autographed most of my PB storybooks and gave me a couple more. Paddington Bear was also one of the very first celebrity characters I got to work with that same year, during an appearance for Manhattan Cable TV. I still own one of his coats and hats.
