It's been a triple rabbit weekend for me this Easter after wrapping up 19 days with the Easter Bunny at Newport Centre mall in Jersey City and then RTR in the parade on 5th Avenue. So what could better than visiting my wabbit hero Bugs Bunny again at Six Flags Great Adventure?
Bugs Bunny was very glad to see me again and welcomed me with lots of hugs and we held hands walking to and from his spot at the fountain plaza each time all afternoon while Daffy Duck skipped ahead of us. When he had a few free moments, I gave Bugs more photo prints of our past adventures together, including one of his fan Vanessa that he met the past couple of Thanksgivng weekends in Long Island at the Aviation Museum (because of me). I told Vanessa that Bugs appears every open day at Six Flags so this photo was just in case she ever makes it out to the park so Bugs will remember her. I even gave Daffy an RTR dvd that included his one cameo on the TV show from 1997.
Bugs still loves taking selfies with my iPhone.
Bugs and Daffy did three Dance Parties that afternoon but I told Bugs that my health issues prevent me from really joining in for that. However I did say that I could still do "The Macarena" and "YMCA" safely without any harm, so Bugs was kind enough to wave me into the floor with him when he knew those numbers were coming up in the playlist, so I could still be part of the show. I'm glad Bugs is still my friend after all these years and really appreciates our history together despite the corporate mascot politics that have often kept us apart.
