Why don't we all VOTE on the INTERNET

Over 40 Million people vote for their favorite American Idol every week over their telephones. That's more people than voted for President Bush in the last presidential election.
Why don't we start something that would end up being a Real Democracy? Why not use the technology of the Internet to allow the US Voters to vote on issues of the day that concern us and effect our lives the most? Why Not? The only real reason we're not doing this already is due to the censorship of the government and the media.
We need more democracy in this country, not less. If people are willing to vote for their favorite American Idol and PAY 10 Cents per minute on their cell phones, they sure as heck ought to be willing to vote over the Internet on issues of National Import. We can and MUST start using the Internet to allow for more democracy in America before they take what little freedom we have away from us. They already have begun the process of unraveling our Constitution. The President spys on Americans without warrants, a direct violation of the First Amendment. The Congress passes laws that are against the interest of the common citizen, a direct violation of the basic tenets of democracy.
The lobbyists are free to wander the halls of Congress passing out checks and inviting our elected representatives to golf outings and free vacations. What do the people have to defend their freedom? The current political process allows us to pick the lesser of two evils every four years. This last time, neither candidate was less evil than the other and so by default the current President got four more years. This is not democracy. This is not freedom. We The People can do much better than this.
We have begun a Demonstration of Internet Voting for National Referenda. Please visit us and spread the word. After an appropriate demonstration period, we intend to deliver Real Democracy to the nation. We can't do it alone. We need your support. God Bless America. The last best hope for freedom, justice and democracy in the world.
