Well, I certainly hope that we can somehow manage to be a bit chattier (not that I've said anything besides an intro. post, but still)! Nice to meet all the other newbies. I ought to have mentioned before that I've read The Fountainhead four or five times, and am always happy to chat about it. I just re-read it, though as I usually do in re-readings, I skipped over parts of it, including most of Howard's speech at the end. I consider it one of the great fantasies of the 20th century, and one of the most enjoyable books to live in. I don't agree with all of Rand's judgments, but admire her quest for excellence. Above all, she is just a pleasure to read.
