I have completely blanked on the name and author and plot of a book that I need my fiance to find in the apartment before 6:00 tonight, but I do kind of remember the cover
part of it has yellow and brown strips, like wood boards, and then it was a "rip" in the top corner of the cover.

Any help, anyone?

I think more so than name, author and plot, he needs to know the location in your apartment where you left the book. He should be able to find the book with just the description you gave if you tell him where to look. :-)

he did, thankfully I can remember where all the books are in my apartment. It was, by the way Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay
