Still Behind

I'm still stuck on Don Quixote. The story is cute and funny, but at times it seems tedious and like it's not going anywhere. I'm only on Chapter XV. I have the Walter Starkie translation. I don't know why I'm finding it so hard to get through...maybe it's the tiny print. I like the short chapters though.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'll be back in school come Monday, which means a lot of reading to do for class. For my American Lit class, I know I'm going to have to read:

Ernest Hemingway, In Our Time
John Neihardt, Black Elk Speaks
Alex Haley, The Autobiography of Malcolm X
Maxine Hong Kingston, The Woman Warrior

Anyone have an opinion on any of these? I've only heard of one of them.

So due to these and other class readings, I'll probably stay behind for awhile, but I know everyone else is reading at their own pace anyway right? What do you guys have to read for school?
