Notes

The album has a very mood setting element to it. The kind of album you’d listen to on cloudy days. Very 90s feel to it. I am definitely going to make a copy of this album as it’s the sort of style that Tony would love.

The most striking thing about this album would be Gail’s bass, she was one of the reasons I looked into this band as I wanted to see what the hype was.

Her bass reminds me a bit of Reita’s in that you virtually cannot ignore it haha, literally every track is heavy with her sound and personality. She’s a great bass player and you find that when you listen to King you look forward to hearing her bass on every track as it really takes center stage. She doesn’t do bass solos on the album, it’s just that heavy with her sound. Here's the title track "King". I think it shows you what I mean by her bass.

I’ll definitely listen to this album again.

Also, after this band broke up Gail went to the band L7, Biff Naked, and currently Benny Sizler. I’ll definitely be checking those all out to hear her again!
