exhaustimacated....
i've been having a horridly stressful week.
between work-related snafus, the impending
few weeks of co-workers' erratic schedules
(including mine to a small extent), freelance
obligations, and the hell of Christmas shopping
exclusively using PAT transit, i'm about to declare
the remainder of 2005 fired.
anyone else feeling the stress of shopping for relatives?
my family passed around each others' lists via email,
but i really don't want to go by "lists" anymore. where's
the surprise or fun in that? i think Gift Cards are a valid
gift, but i don't want to do that because it seems too
much like an "easy way out"...
(that's not to denigrate anyone who's done that,
i just have weird ideas/feelings where family, and
especially parents, are concerned...)
anyway, in other news...
in light of W admitting that he issued the directive
allowing Americans to be wiretapped without judicial oversight,
why haven't we heard anyone calling for Bush to be impeached?
i mean, i know POLITICALLY why, but how can a case not get
any more clean cut? please try not to reply with the usual
cynical comments that i myself am too-well known for...
i suggest everyone drink heavily until 2006.
