thanks to everyone for y'alls concern about my brother and his gf. after a day-of purchase of plane tickets (costing a minor fortune) they are finally back from Cancun, and are as well as can be expected. all they want right now is a dinner out at a nice restaurant where they don't have to choose between potato chips and M&Ms for a meal. obviously

yeah, he msged me out of the blue on AIM and we talked for a while. i enjoyed him. i look forward to him keeping me in touch regarding his move. i was surprised to hear he was in SF. Portland in a few weeks! PORTLAND RULES!
