Fast weeks are approaching!
As I sit down to write this journal on the 1st of February, I think to myself. Wow! I can't believe that it is February! This semester has got off to a flying start and I think I'm a little left behind. I'm still behind in two of my classes and the ever increasing amount of homework piled on each day doesn't help out that much. So, now that I've gotten that out of head I can focus on the journal :)
Yesterday was a pretty good day! I've come to really like Tuesdays. This is for 2 reasons: 1)Only 2 classes, 2)Working an 8 hour day. No seriously! I really love my job with a passion and I have without a doubt some of the best coworkers that someone could possibly have. Making this Tuesday even better was the fact that I got to have lunch with Chelsie and Lindsay! Since all of our schedules conflict (well at least most of the time), it's good to have a good break with some of my good friends. Also got to share with them something that's been on my mind quite a bit. And as usual, they helped out. The only thing that I would've changed about the day was the fact that I went to the infirmary that morning to see the dr. about my cough and sore throat, only to be denied for lack of an appointment....Then mom spassed out since the infirmary called her by mistake.....yea...I know what you're thinking....but it's mom, and I love her, so....... Called it an early night and tried to get some rest.
Today got up and start the long M/W routine with frequent breaks between school and work. Still behind in homework, but I hope to make a little bit of a dent in it with the 2 more hours I will be working for. I'm missing a Pre-med meeting tonight due to Organic Lab II. I swear, I am really disliking this night class and all the breaks in between all of my classes. Maybe it'll get better as the semester progresses, although I doubt it.
Looking forward to this weekend! Michael's little bro, Mitchel, is coming in and they want to get together and do something. I'm hoping they decide to have some fun before they go out, b/c if they go, I know I'm not following. So I just hope that we can hang out a little while before they go out. On a less positive note, mom is coming back in for over two consecutive weeks. :( She's been down here more in 2006 than in all of 2005 combined. The secretary at the D.A's office in Cameron quit, so she is coming in until they find someone. I hope that doesn't take long. Well I must get back to work.
