Help!

Hello all!

I had some disturbing things going on on my LJ and because of that I would love to lock my LJ and make it friends only from now on.
As you all know by now, I'm a total idiot when it comes to such things so could someone please explain to me how to do that?

And it would be really lovely if one of you talented Ladies could create a

I haven't really made my journal friends only. I've thought about it, but I like to make public posts with pictures sometimes too.
So, I've gone back to entries that I wanted to make friends only and hit the edit button.
Still, if you have lots of people on your friendslist that you don't know well, it can still be a bit weird to make very private posts. So I've also created a filter with my close friends in it. Took me a while to figure that out too ;-)

But you figured out how to do that at last! *big sigh* I (again) have NO idea what so ever how to filter my close friends. I didn't even know that this is possible. See: idiot me!!
Awww, I think we have to do a retreat again so that someone can explain to me the deep and hidden secrets of LJ!
