That said, *clears throat and lets loose a sky-shaking battle cry* Ah, better. So, what's been getting on my nerves lately is the fact I just don't get time to myself to draw. That's all I wanna do, draw on the computer (because, as I've realized today, my traditional skills currently suck big time). But there's no privacy in my new place. Lemme explain, I live in a lodge on the edge of a lake, which is amazing in the summer, with my dad and mum. This is until mine and mum's lodge is built (across the lake), so this one, built for ONE person, is a little cramped. I have quite a few commissions to finish, but the only time I get to work on them is when mum and dad have gone to bed... and I never go to bed until after 1, NEVER, lol (at least I get lay-ins, the beauty of being jobless). I just can't draw in front of people either, I'm really pathetic but when I start drawing I get paranoid they're watching me. It's so frustrating because recently they've been in the house alot in the day, whereas before I moved I usually had the daytime and late nights to draw (I worked evenings). Agh, pretty stupid, but a problem to me, nonetheless.
What a dead wasteland, heh. The lake looks so much better in summer with trees that look alive... and hiding the quarry from view. But the snow added a nice white beauty - that I didn't quite catch here - to the beach and fields.
News - in the field on the side of the dirt track, that leads down to the lake, live a fair few horses. Their owner was a woman who had rescued them, she came down every day and night for them. Yesterday we heard she had died in her sleep. Just like that. She was 34 I think, and it was a brain seizure. That's just wrong, don't you think? How out-of-the-blue. For now, my dad's friend is looking after the horses until someone decides what to do with them. It's such a shame...
