Yes, I am updating The Golden Ship, the near endless, often months between updates crossover of Jeremiah and Battlestar Galactica. Galen is such a tough character all around and in this as well. I don't think he's a bad guy. I think he is grateful to Felix. And I wonder if he's geniunely worried that Felix might act like a giant douche now that he's Col. Tigh to Markus's Bill Adama. And I could see Felix being tempted. I might explore his mental thoughts at some point - I do think Felix would have given up Tyrol to save Layne. Now, I also think Felix included Tyrol in the deal for legimate reasons - the possible school and also... that he doesn't like Galen but he does like Cally and doesn't want to be the reason her husband doesn't make it. Maybe he is Nicholas's father in this 'verse ;)
No, I don't think Bill will react well to all five of his remaining spies refusing to come home to the fleet but I realistially think that he might be expecting too much of all of the kids on Earth. He sent them on a suicide mission (essentially) and then abandoned them. They're all young, Tyrol is the only one with children... even loyal officers think logically about how long they have to keep up the act. I think, after the initial anger, that Bill would understand it. Especially if Kara crosses over and I think she will. I think her issue will be Sam and I can see her moving past it. Felix is loyal I think, but I think Bill will realize that he missed an opportunity to earn Felix's loyalty.
