Ok so this is a cross between Highlander and BSG. Cottle,Ishay, Gaeta, and later Dee, Baltar and Hoshi are the players. Set in the Demetrious arc... started for the prompt war we had in gaeta-squee and I am expanding it......

And this looks like a very fun fic to explore-- I haven't seen Highlander in years but definitely Gaeta would fit right in!

techically puszysty made it and is duly credited... but I STOLE IT

I honestly like the intrigue between Layne and Jack on this. Gaeta is probably too rigid mentally to not seriously have a problem....

Oh, cool. Cottle/Ishay are a perfect mortal/immortal couple. I love that Helo's trying to be it'll be all right and Felix gives him hell. Also, Felix is not going to handle The Game at all well. Even if he and Ishay are the only immortals in the fleet at some point they're being immortal is going to be discovered.

Hee! I like the idea that under Cottle's gruff exteior that he's well.... tapping an immortal hottie.

No, Felix won't handle the game well. He's too thoughtful and too likely to well... have a seriously bad reaction.

Technically there can be two... since Gaeta is against beheading and Ishay really isn't all that into it....

I actually am eying this one because frankly there's a really hilarious way to involve Baltar.

I do have a fondness for Methos. I like Duncan, don't get me wrong, but Duncan's constant angst and man pain and intensity just got on my nerves. There's being noble and then there's being dumb and Duncan had a tendency to be dumb.

Methos on the other hand, seemed like one of the most mentally healthy Immortals out there. Granted, he did spend like, a thousand years killing people while being Death on a pale horse and all, but I really liked his attitude. I mean, especially compared to Dudley Do Right Duncan, it was always refreshing to see someone say "lets do the rational thing and not do something risky"

Yeah, I agree. Duncan was interesting for a while (also! sword fights!), but Methos added a rather necessary perspective to the show. And I like his dark past. I'm a sucker for dark pasts. Much more interesting than the do gooders who've never made any mistakes and therefore aren't all that qualified to have an opinion.
