so the biggest thing that has happened this spring break is arguably the fact that jennifer and i are currently EATING, SLEEPING, DRINKING, BREATHING...THINKING.....BIKING. i don't know what sparked this interest exactly, but yesterday it hit us. we needed to find some bikes. and we needed to find them fast.
so we called everyone we knew in search of bikes (it's interesting that the people you would assume to own bikes in fact DO NOT own bikes. but the ones who you would never expect to have a bike? yeah, they have them.) a special thanks goes out to all of you who we harassed, but the most special thanks goes to lupe and kelsey...the contributors of our bikes. and kelsey, i am sorry for running into that tree in your front yard. i did it on purpose. in fact, i didn't fall or do anything dumb after that.
anyway, so after obtaining THE BIKES...and realizing we had no means to obtain THE GEAR, so after nixing the idea of GEAR... we set out. and we rode. we did some jumps and tried to pop some wheelies. we saw a dead squirrel and neither of us cried. all achievements in my book.
okay, so this bike phase is only 2-days running, but damn...that's pretty good for us. if any of you wish to go on some sweet rides with us, you are more than welcome.
right now my entire family (like, extended family minus james) is going to have a picnic at the fake styrofoam stone henge. yeah, i really don't have an explanation for that. it's weird.
