A disturbing thought and a vote against SeaWorld
I used to love SeaWorld. You got to see killer whales and dolphins and if you were lucky, there might be a hideous shark attack (such is my understanding of Jaws 3).
And now I am off put by their policies and all the dead whales and all... but that's not my disturbing thought.
What if there is an EMP disaster? What happens to the whales then? In an EMP, the electric grid is fried. You probably won't be able to drive and the power sure as hell won't work... and those giant water tanks that hold those whales and dolphins are very dependent on the electrical grid.
Here's the disturbing thought. How long would it take the whales to die? They certainly wouldn't be getting fed and the water system wouldn't be working.... What a terrible way to die.
